Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Our Client is hiring a Business Analyst (Onsite)

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL.
• Experience with Business analysis on technology projects (5+ years).
• Experience with Analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to support strategic goals.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Management.
• Experience with IT Business Analysis for software development projects.
• Experience with Eliciting requirements, documenting user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for backlog management and tracking.
• Experience with Developing and executing user acceptance test cases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Feature Driven Design.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred:
• Experience with Business process modeling and improvement.
• Experience with Data analysis techniques and tools.
• Experience with Cloud computing and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with Working in a government or public sector environment.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Develop business cases and feasibility studies to support project proposals and decision-making.
• Create detailed functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability in Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus and clarify requirements.
• Provide guidance and oversight during the development and testing phases to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Experience with Conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts (7+ years);
  • Experience with Translating functional specifications into technical specifications from which programmers can construct the solution (7+ years);
  • Experience with Translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria (7+ years);
  • Experience with Translating information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and/or process flow models (7+ years);
  • Experience with Creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures (7+ years);
  • Experience with Collaborating with QA teams, coordinating UAT schedules, conducting UAT sessions, and guiding business testers through workflows (7+ years);
  • Experience with Process model diagram tools such as Microsoft Visio (7+ years);
  • Experience with Manual testing; validating system functionality by authoring test scenarios and executing manual checks against business requirements (5+ years);
  • Experience with Automation testing; designing, writing, and executing automation test scripts to verify system functionality and finding software bugs (5+ years);
  • Experience with Deriving business process and data requirements from reading and analyzing process and systems documentation;
  • Experience with Creating data dictionaries.

Preferred:
  • CJIS Certification.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison between business owners, contract manager, and the development team;
  • Coordinate and facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions;
  • Translate information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and/or process flow models;
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss business processes;
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications;
  • Assist with creating process flow models and documentation;
  • Support the planning, design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance of the Client's applications and information technology projects.
